Kate has been working as an occupational therapist in the Hunter region for almost 15 years and is nationally registered with AHPRA. Having graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), Kate has also gone on to complete a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) in 2014 and a Bachelor of Dementia Care at the University of Tasmania in 2016.
Kate has spent most of her career working as an Occupational Therapist in both community and hospital inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings. She has worked in multidisciplinary teams supporting people in their treatment and rehabilitation journeys. Kate’s experience enables her to support people with complex physical, social, and psychological needs to achieve their goals, and to participate in activities and roles that give them purpose and meaning in their everyday life.
Kate remains committed to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice and the provision of timely, high quality therapy services.
